Frequently Asked Questions - Giro Sotogrande Psychology

Here are the answers to the most common questions. Can't find what you're looking for? Don't worry: write me on WhatsApp or email, or if you prefer, call me. You have all my contact details at the bottom of this page.

What kind of difficulties are attended?

We attend moments in life that feel confusing or difficult: anxiety that doesn't let you rest, stress that accumulates, sadness that you don't know where it comes from, changes that alter your course, conflicts with those you love or difficulty making decisions and feeling clarity. Each process is built from your story and what you need now, seeking to make sense of what you are living and find new ways to move forward.

What can I expect from my first appointment?

The first session serves to get to know each other, explore what worries you and start deciding together which direction to move forward. You don't need to have all the answers: we focus on your priorities and the first steps you can start taking.

How does a psychotherapy session work?

In each session we focus on what you want to change or improve and on what already works in your life. Together we explore resources and possible solutions, building concrete steps to advance towards the changes you desire. Each meeting adapts to you and what you need at that moment.

Can in-person and online sessions be combined?

Of course! We offer in-person sessions in Sotogrande and also online therapy, so you can choose the modality that best adapts to what you need, as well as combining them if it is an option that fits you better.

How does therapy adapt to me?

Each session is built with you, taking into account your story, what is important for you and the direction you want to take. We focus on moving towards the changes you want to experience, using your skills for it and opening new possibilities.

Who has to attend the session?

There is no fixed rule about who must come, what is important is that all the people who want to help and be part of the change do so, regardless of who is affected by the discomfort.
